Abstract

Temperate fruit crops form one of the most important areas where introductions have played significant role. Temperate fruit belt in India comprises of temperate regions of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal and hills of Darjeeling, North East India, Nilgiris and Kodaikanal.
